Pickles the Clown

I don't know how it happened. One day I'm at home minding my own business having a nice day without a single care in the world and the next thing I know I'm at Kaden't school dressed in a tu-tu and tights jumping around like an idiot and having the time of my life! Ok actually I know exactly what happened. Laurie Rice. Several of my friends are in PTA and they asked me to help out with the carnival this year. Of cousre I said yes (because I say yes to everything) I just don't think that I realized what exactly I was getting in to. I think that these pictures speak volumes! I have to say . . . I look pretty hot. I think I might convert this to my every day look.

Random thoughts by Kaden, Gabby and Dallen

Dallen- I know why skunks stink.

Brian- You do?

Dallen- Yep.

Brian-Why do they stink?

Dallen-Because they have ass in their tooshy.
(for the record he was trying to say gas. Poor boy still can't get those "g" sounds down!)

Gabby- I have skills.

Me- You have skills?

Gabby- yes.

Me- What kind of skills.

Gabby- Koowattie skills.

Me- Gabby what do you want to have for dinner for your birthday?

Gabby - McDonalds

Me- Remember Grandmas is taking you there tomorrow.

Gabby - Oh yeah. Maybe we should have something healthy for dinner then.

Me - That's a great idea! What would you like to have for dinner that is healthy?

Gabby - Ummm Wendy's.

This one happened after Gabby's dance recital.

Kaden "You know Gabby earlier today you were not very good, but you were much better tonight!"

Gabby "Oh thank you Kaden!"

She acted as if this was the best compliment she had all night!!

Gabby "Are raisins good for you?"

Kaden "Of course raisins are good for you! Everything made from the sun is good for you!"

Kaden "I think that you are awesome mom."

Tye "You do?"

Kaden " Yep awesome bossom dissom dossom!"

Kaden "Dad what are we having for dinner?"

Bri "hamburger helper"

Kaden "Oh, what kind of a restauraunt is that?"

"It's good to look pretty cause that means that you are happy!" This is one of my favorites from Gabby

Ok so this is actually a Dallen moment. We were playing Iron Chef and Gabby came in with a plastic lemon on her plate. When we asked Gabby what she made she said,

" Lemon cream custard pie with pudding and sprinkles. And I put it in the microwave and the stove so that it would be so sweet for you." Brian and I oohed and aahed as a good parent should. Then Dallen came in with his "dish". He had one of Gabby's princess tea cups with a golf ball in it. Brian looked at him and smiled and said "mmmm that looks really good what's this bud?" Dallen replied in his super cute low voice, " ummm Ball juice. . . . . salty."

Kaden- "Mom what do we on Valentines Day?"

Me- "That's the day that we tell all the people we love how much we love them."

Kaden- "Well that's useless. Do we get presents?"

Me- "Nope."

Kaden- "Yep it's useless allright."

Kaden- " Mom do you sometimes call Dad Brian?"

Me- "Yes among other things."

Kaden- "like what other things?"

Me-" like sweety and honey."

Kaden- "And bananna pants."

OK this one was really Gabby and not Kaden but I had to post it. Gabby was dragging the laundry baskets from the front room and this is what she said. " I can do this all by my self cause I'm so strong. I'm strong cause I have big missiles. Dallen is not strong cause he only has small missiles."

While I was putting on Kaden's shoes today.

Kaden- "Mom, what's that stuff between my toes sometimes?"

Me- " Yucky toe jam."

Kaden-said while scrunching up his face " Umm I do not want that on my sandwich for lunch, I just like strawberry!!"

While doing Kaden's hair after he has taken a bath.

Me- "Oh my gosh Kaden your hair grew so fast we are going to have to cut it again!"

Kaden- "Of course it grew fast, I water it every day!"

While Brian is giving the kids horsey rides Gabby sat up by Bri's shoulders out of turn instead of sitting in the back. After a few minutes of pouting Kaden jumps up and shrugs his

shoulders and says, "It's fine I will just sit back here by Dad's fart party."

Me- "Fart party? Where did you get that?"

Kaden- "That's just what I sometimes call Dad's big fat butt."

While on our way to Idaho to visit Cookie Grandma we heard Kaden singing a song to him self. This is how it went.

"I'm a bananna with no legs. I'm a bannana with no head." he went on and on going through arms and ears while smiling to himself. When Brian and I asked him who had taught him that song he said, "No one. Sometimes I just like to sing about banannas."
